Are you sitting at home, surrounded by your research, not sure how to make your story into something coherent, multi-layered and readable? Then please, please, please sign up for this course. It will teach you more than you ever thought you needed to know and you will never look back. Lynn will direct you through the process and give you feedback and encouragement. Six weeks ago all I had were random boxes of papers and a vague vision of a story, now I have a full plot outline and am ready to start writing in earnest. This course is invaluable!

  2. A Must-Have Class!

If you’re writing a family history book, taking the Plotting a Family History Story class is a must. Not only will Lynn teach you about the beginning, middle and end, you’ll learn about story arcs, opening scences, inciting incidents, all the way to a closing scene at the end. This course goes well with Writing a Family History Scene. Thoroughly enjoyed the class! Thanks Lynn!

  3. Authors in the Making

Once again, Lynn Palermo delivered step by step guidelines to help us budding authors move forward in completing compelling Family History Stories. In this series, we learn week by week how to create a robust outline of the story plot. By the end of the course you have everything you need to get your family history story written.
I love the interaction with the other students as they are exposed to your thoughts and help you clarify what you are trying to share.
Lynn’s feedback is very helpful to keep you pointed in the direction of making the ancestors story sing on the pages. She gives you the power to leave some of the fact elements in the file folder for the benefit of story flow with techniques and suggestions.
